Follow along

1

Choose representative journeys

List the paths your school offers: adult applications, parent/child applications, course purchases, free access, services or events. Use designated test accounts. Do not use an admin session to decide what a learner can see.
2

Follow the public path

Open the school in a private browser window. Follow the actual registration or purchase link. Confirm required forms, validation, submission and confirmation. For admissions, check review and acceptance steps with the intended staff role. For parent-managed enrollment, ensure the parent can act for the correct child.
3

Verify payment and learning access

Use the intended test payment mode to check checkout without an unintended real charge. Inspect the amount, currency, receipt and buyer/learner relationship. Confirm the correct learner receives access. For service purchases, verify fulfillment and confirmation without assuming Student access. Check the live payment readiness separately before launch.
4

Ask the assistant for a configuration review

Back in School setup, click Open setup assistant, then Run setup review. The existing school assistant inspects configuration and suggests missing work. Check its findings against the real UI. An AI review does not replace your hands-on test or mark the checklist complete.
5

Finish the team’s review

After each applicable step has been checked, select Finish setup review. This records your review; it does not publish pages, send invitations or enable live payments. Decide who will take those actions and when. Use Reopen checklist when the configuration changes.
Record counts, a successful chat and checked boxes do not certify launch readiness. Record which journeys you tested and any remaining limitations before inviting learners.

Video transcript

You are almost there. This final step is a hands-on rehearsal, not an automatic pass. Open your school in a private browser window, and use designated test accounts for the journeys your school actually offers. For admissions, test required forms, submission and approval. For direct enrollment, test checkout and course access. For services and events, check the purchase and confirmation without assuming the buyer becomes a student. Test a parent and child separately when that applies. Back in School setup, Open setup assistant opens the school’s existing AI assistant. Choose Run setup review for a read-only review of configuration and missing work. Use its findings to guide your checks, and verify the real learner experience yourself. Mark each applicable step reviewed, then choose Finish setup review. This records your team’s review; it does not publish pages, send invitations or switch on live payments. Decide when to take those actions, and reopen the checklist whenever your setup changes.
