Every DeanDesk platform includes access to the DeanDesk mobile app — a native iOS and Android experience that keeps your students and members connected to your institution from their phones.

What your community can do in the app

Students and members can access everything they need without opening a browser:

Tell your students how to get started

Share these instructions with your students and members:
  1. Download DeanDesk from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open the app and tap Sign In.
  3. Enter the same email address and password they use to log in on the web.
  4. Once signed in, they’ll see your platform and all their enrolled courses.
Students log in with their existing DeanDesk credentials — the same email and password they use on the web portal. They do not need to create a new account.

Offline access

Students can download course materials for use without an internet connection.
  • In any course, tap the Download icon next to a lesson or module.
  • Downloaded content is available under My Downloads in the app.
  • Progress made offline syncs automatically when the device reconnects to the internet.
Let your students know about offline downloads before trips, commutes, or periods when they may have limited connectivity. It keeps their learning uninterrupted.

Biometric login

The app supports Face ID and fingerprint authentication on supported devices. Students can enable biometric login from the app’s Settings screen after their first sign-in.

Real-time sync

Progress, grades, and course data sync instantly across all devices. If a student completes a lesson on their phone, the progress appears immediately when they log in on the web — and vice versa.

White-label app (Enterprise)

Enterprise plan customers can publish their own branded app in the App Store and Google Play — under their institution’s name, with their own logo and colors. Students download your app, not the DeanDesk app.

  • Listed under your developer account in the App Store and Google Play
  • All the same features as the standard DeanDesk app
White-label apps require an active Enterprise plan. If your plan lapses, the white-label app will stop functioning for your users.
