School-level feature — managed within your school portal at yourschool.deandesk.com. Personal integrations are available to admin and teacher accounts.
Admins and teachers can connect two personal integrations to their own account: Both connections are tied to your individual account, not the school.

Open the Integrations page

1

Open your profile

From your dashboard, open the account menu and click My Profile.
2

Go to Integrations

In the profile sidebar, under Integrations, click Integrations (“Connect Zoom and more”). This page lives at /profile/integrations.

Zoom

Connect Zoom

1

Click Connect Zoom

On the Zoom Integration card, click Connect Zoom. A new tab opens with Zoom’s sign-in and authorization flow.
2

Authorize DeanDesk

Sign in to Zoom and approve the connection.
3

Verify the status

Back on the Integrations page, click Refresh. The card shows Status: Connected along with your Zoom account ID and connection time.

Create a course meeting

Once connected, you can create Zoom meetings from a course’s edit page:
1

Open the course editor

Edit the course and scroll to the Zoom Integration section. It shows your Zoom Status (with its own Connect Zoom button if you haven’t connected yet).
2

Fill in the meeting details

Enter a Meeting Topic (defaults to the course title), a Start Time, and a Duration (minutes).
3

Create the meeting

Click Create Zoom Meeting (or Update Zoom Meeting if one already exists). The join URL is shown, and it’s automatically applied as the Meeting Link on the course’s online schedule entries.
The Zoom section is only enabled when editing an existing course — save the course first, then create the meeting.
Enrolled students see a Join Live Class / Join Zoom button on the course page. Teachers and admins get the host start link, so the same button starts the meeting for them.

Disconnect Zoom

On the Zoom Integration card, click Disconnect Zoom. Existing meeting links stop being managed from DeanDesk, but this doesn’t delete meetings from your Zoom account.

Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar

1

Click Connect Google Calendar

On the Google Calendar Integration card, click Connect Google Calendar and approve access in Google’s sign-in flow.
2

Verify the status

Back on the page, the card shows Status: Connected with the Google account email and connection time.

Choose which calendars to check

After connecting, a Calendars to Check for Availability section lists every calendar in your Google account (your primary calendar is marked with a Primary chip).
1

Select calendars

Check each calendar that should count toward your availability — for example your work calendar but not a shared holidays calendar.
2

Save

Click Save Calendar Selection.
When someone books a session with you through Scheduling & Bookings, events marked as busy in your selected calendars block those times from being offered.

Enable Calendar Sync

The Enable Calendar Sync switch controls whether conflict checking is active. When enabled, your availability automatically excludes times when you’re busy in Google Calendar. Turn it off to temporarily ignore your Google Calendar without disconnecting.

Disconnect Google Calendar

Click Disconnect on the Google Calendar Integration card. Your booking availability goes back to being based only on the availability schedule you set in DeanDesk.
